Slack Integration

Analytics alerts in the channels your team already reads. When traffic, conversions, or rankings shift beyond your thresholds, ClimbPast tells you in Slack — with the affected pages attached.

What It Does

The alert layer between your data and your team

Dashboards only help if someone opens them. The Slack integration flips the model: ClimbPast watches your GA4 and Search Console data continuously, and when a metric crosses a threshold you set, the alert is pushed to the channel where your team will actually see it.

Every message includes the page-level breakdown — which URLs drove the change, by how much, and since when — so the next step is a decision, not another login.

  • Real-time alert delivery to any Slack channel you choose
  • Configurable percentage-change thresholds per metric
  • Page-level drill-down inside every alert message
  • Threaded follow-ups so alert channels stay readable

How ClimbPast Uses It

Alerts your team will actually see

Anomaly alerts where you work

When GA4 traffic or conversions move beyond your baseline, the alert lands in Slack the same day — not in a dashboard nobody opened.

Thresholds you control

Set per-metric percentage thresholds so the channel only hears about changes big enough to act on. No alert fatigue.

Whole-team visibility

Everyone in the channel sees the same alert with the same page-level context, so the discussion starts from data instead of screenshots.

FAQ

Slack integration questions

How do I connect Slack to ClimbPast?

Open Settings in ClimbPast, click "Connect Slack", and authorize the workspace through Slack's standard OAuth flow. Then pick the channel each alert rule should post to. The whole setup takes about a minute.

Which alerts can be delivered to Slack?

Any ClimbPast alert can post to Slack: traffic and conversion anomalies from GA4, ranking and impression shifts from Search Console, and tracking-health issues. Each rule can target its own channel and threshold.

Can I control how often ClimbPast posts to Slack?

Yes. Alerts fire only when a metric crosses the percentage-change threshold you set, and follow-ups on the same issue are threaded under the original message, so channels stay quiet unless something meaningful changed.

What data does the Slack integration access?

ClimbPast only requests the Slack scopes needed to post messages to the channels you select. It does not read your Slack messages, and you can revoke the connection from Slack or ClimbPast settings at any time.
