What is Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are a set of Google metrics that measure real-world page experience: Largest Contentful Paint (loading), Interaction to Next Paint (responsiveness), and Cumulative Layout Shift (visual stability). Each has a threshold for a good rating, and the scores are reported in Search Console and PageSpeed Insights.

Why it matters

Core Web Vitals are a Google ranking signal and a direct driver of bounce and conversion, so poor scores can cost both rankings and revenue.
